Your Role
As our high-performing head of business development, you develop customer relationships that allow you to understand and frame their strategic goals within industry 4.0. You align our software solutions towards helping our customers achieve their goals. Therein you will work closely with our solution architects, product and development teams, as well as network of partners, to propose a fitting proof of concept for a serverless industrial IoT solution.
To complement the team, you are a resourceful and efficient problem solver with a good sense of humour. You are comfortable with both people and new technology. And you share our love for employing technology to automate tasks and continuously optimise your own workflow.
Requirements

With your passion for our customers' success, you will help lift tyke.io to the next level by

  • Creating trusting relationships with industrial market players
  • Managing our strategic and operational Marketing and Customer Relationship activities
  • Showing strong judgement in recommending winning PoCs for new customers
  • Being one of our friendly and capable faces in on- and offline media/events 
  • Designing and achieving KPIs for all steps of the business development phase
  • Negotiating terms and conditions with prospective customers and partners
  • Providing market feedback regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas
  • Driving increased revenue and profit to achieve tyke.io's ambitious growth plan
  • Having the willingness to travel extensively
Your experience matches the following:

  • Your background is either in Computer Science/Industrial Engineering and Business Administration or similar.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
  • Experience in working with senior and executive management to align sales strategies and solutions
  • You set high performance and quality standards for yourself
  • Strong network within the manufacturing industry in Germany
  • Preferably expertise with AWS Cloud
