Your Role

Tyke.io is looking for a junior DevOps engineer to help build and maintain the infrastructure for our highly scalable & reliable IIoT solutions on AWS for our clients. This role provides you the opportunity to be part of an excellent team that is building the future of industrial IoT solutions.

  • Help plan, build & maintain highly scalable next-generation cloud architectures on AWS
  • Help automate the infrastructure provisioning using infrastructure as a code
  • Help design and manage CI/CD pipelines for our industrial IoT solutions 
  • Help monitor & manage all aspects of system security, performance, storage, incidents, usage, backup and recovery for databases, applications, and infrastructure on AWS
  • Work in cross-functional scrum teams to deliver world-class solutions to clients
  • Learn, coach & share knowledge with your tyke.io colleagues
Requirements
  • High interest in the following areas:
    * Knowledge of scripting
    * Experience with Linux, containers, serverless, message queues
    * Understanding of scalable software architectures
    * CI/CD
    * Security
  • Attention to details
  • Sense of ownership
  • Ability to understand the big picture and consequences of actions
  • Interest in development practices
  • Highly organised
  • Understanding the need of keeping things clean and documented
  • Ability to identify areas of improvements to enable others via tools and processes
  • Efficient verbal and written communication skills in English
